Principal receives the DP William Ruto for inauguration of Kinangop TVC

Principal, Nyandarua institute visited Kinangop Training and vocational center for an inauguration ceremony presided by Deputy President Hon William Ruto held on Saturday 13th October 2018.

Kinangop TVC is a being mentored by Nyandarua Institute meaning that Nyandarua Institute will oversee the construction of classes and administration block until completion.

Together with the Deputy President was: Governor Nyandarua County, Hon William Kimemia, MP Kinangop and senior Nyandarua Institute Staff including the principal and Dean of Students.

Teaching vacancy at Kipipiri Technical

Kipipiri Technical Training and Vocational College one of the institutions being mentored by Nyandarua Institute of Science and Technology seek to recruit a qualified and experienced Lecturer who will be under the BOG to teach Electrical Engineering.

The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) was established by an act of Parliament CAP 213A of 1995. When it was establish it took over all the function and the responsibilities of management of higher education financing which was by then being managed by the University Student Loans Scheme (USLS) a department in the Ministry of Education

Who qualifies for TVET HELB Loan and Bursaries?

  • HELB provides Technical, Vocational & Education Training (TVET)loans and bursaries to eligible applicants in the public TVET Institutes recognized by the Ministry of Education (MoE), a member of the Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI) and placed by Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS)
  • HELB awards bursaries to extremely needy students pursuing Diploma courses, in Institutes recognized by the TVET authority (TVETA) and registered with Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI)

Print two copies of the duly filled Loan Application Form.

Have the form appropriately filled, signed and stamped by the relevant authorities and guarantors (for first time applicants only) and by the Dean (for subsequent applicants)
