Welcome to Nyandarua Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) academia. We are very passionate to ensure academic justice to all NIST trainees. Our vision is always to make sure NIST continues to be a centre of excellence in applied research and innovations to transform positively the livelihood of human beings. Therefore, we do not lose sight and focus of our students, as our honourable clients. To NIST fraternity, excellence of students’ academic performance is critical. NIST continues to be a beacon of development with enough qualified and competent trainers in every course. The trainers offer relevant and practical skills and competences to the students. We also ensure trainers, trainees, and non-training staff work as a team to guarantee students’ maximum academic benefits. The students’ leadership (especially education CS and class representatives) is involved at decision-making, supervision and evaluation levels to enhance academic excellence. NIST principal, deputy principals, heads of departments, and trainers always work together to ensure NIST academic policy is properly implemented.
